Top NYC Wedding Photographers Recommend the Best, & Most Picturesque Places to Get Married in New York

Rooftop wedding venues in NYC are in no short supply. Luckily for thousands of brides to be, every year there are many beautiful places to get married in New York City under the sun in the midst of towering skyscrapers.

As some of the top NYC wedding photographers, we’ve photographed at all the most picturesque rooftop wedding venues in NYC and have our opinions on what we think are the best places to get married in New York City. For your convenience, we’ve organized our three favorites here.

Top NYC wedding photographers recommend:

The Tribeca Rooftop: 1/3 of the best rooftop wedding venues in NYC

We think that a Tribeca Rooftop wedding is one of the best rooftop wedding venues in NYC for several reasons. The remarkable 18,000 sq. feet of space on the Tribeca rooftop showcases panoramic visions of The Empire State Building, the Hudson, Tribeca and SOHO. The Tribeca Rooftop is a favorite venue for many a bride to be, and our top NYC wedding photographers alike. Time your wedding with the sunset for a truly magical experience.

One of the reasons the Tribeca Rooftop is one of our favorite rooftop wedding venues in NYC is that the groom and bride to be can work with their event designer to create highly customizable designs. Having a wedding at the Tribeca Rooftop grants amazing opportunities for our top NYC wedding photographers to capture the moment, the emotions and the action with stunning surroundings.

Top NYC wedding photographers recommend:

The Skylight West: 2/3 of the best rooftop wedding venues in NYC

The Skylight West, located in Midtown West is one of the largest rooftop wedding venues in NYC. With incredible views and an open space big enough for a 250 person cocktail party under the sky, the rooftop provides the perfect setting for a party.

A special feature we love at the Skylight West is the large reflecting pool, where our top NYC wedding photographers have captured some truly stunning and unique underwater photos. There’s also a 20 by 60 foot outdoor screen for personalized projections (think slideshows of the couple or moving art to fit whatever theme you so choose) that plays to all of your guests, and to the mid-section of Tenth Ave so you can brand or showcase your fabulous wedding to the city. Your Skylight West wedding will remain un-crashed though, as there are private express elevators exclusively for your party’s use.

Top NYC wedding photographers recommend:

The 620 Loft and Garden: 3/3 of the best rooftop wedding venues in NYC

The 620 Loft and Garden is the most enchanted of the rooftop wedding venues in NYC, as it presents a stunning contrast of natural and architectural beauty. A manicured lawn and garden with backdrops of a famous Gothic Cathedral and the iconic 30 Rock, our top NYC wedding photographers believe there is nothing more quintessential New York than hosting your wedding at the 620 Loft and Garden.

The 620 Loft and Garden can accommodate between 120 and 165 guests, depending on if you want to host your ceremony or just the reception there. With a tented and heated outdoor section, it can be used as a romantic holiday wedding venue, or a breezy and relaxing outdoor place to be married in the summer.

While our top NYC wedding photographers adore the Tribeca Rooftop, the Skylight West and the 620 Loft and Garden, we have many more places to get married in New York that we love to recommend.
