I am not a food critic and as a photographer I don’t really dine at weddings and events as much as grab and go, but I love food and I can always tell when Peter Callahan is in the kitchen.
His food is devilishly clever. His presentations are always unique, photogenic, whimsical and tasty – especially his passed hors d’oeuvres and desserts. He has a way of pairing unexpected elements to make the most astute counterpoint and just when you think you’ve seen it, like a magician he will switch it up with another surprise. He has avid fans among the party givers and goers, a book coming in the fall, and has introduced a Glatt Kosher division, which should be ground breaking.
