Last month Gruber Photographers’ Terry and Jeremy had the opportunity to shoot Alix and Steven’s wedding at New York’s world renowned Plaza Hotel. Planned by our friends at Gourmet Advisory Services, the big day emphasized the couple’s values of family and friends – the bride had eleven bridesmaids! And the music was a huge standout beginning with a harp and 8-string orchestra during the ceremony, continuing with the Elly Zomick and Neshoma Orchestra playing throughout the reception and finishing out the night with the Harris Lane Orchestra that began their set with Isn’t She Lovely for the bride’s first dance with her father.
Alix and Steven opted to have a traditional white wedding complete with large and small white orchids, textured tablecloths and hanging and floating votives by Marc Eliot of Floralia. Guests were served seasonal summer fare including grilled bronzini with summer zucchini relish and watermelon gazpacho. Bentley Meeker provided the lighting that accentuated the bride’s radiant smile as she and her new husband danced well into the night.
