After 13 amazing years of Gruber Photographers doing wedding photography related business on 57th street. Only a block from a few of our favorite wedding venues: The Plaza, Pierre, Essex House, Mandarin, and St Regis Hotels, We moved to our new studio on 26th street in the Flatiron District. We celebrate the start of our 5th year at our new space, July 2014 with this great video of our big move.
Our studio pioneered the shift to photojournalistic, documentary-style wedding and event photography. It is distinguished by a unique, cinematic approach and a storyteller’s eye for detail present in all of our work. 25 years after our founding by Terry deRoy Gruber our studio is still one of the leading innovative photography studios in New York City.
Our trademark combination of innovative technologies and techniques with traditional film and classic textures has made us the photographer of choice for celebrities like Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas as well as high-profile private weddings, events and mitzvahs. Our work has been featured in media ranging from Vogue and Vanity Fair to American Photo and the Travel Channel, and we have earned numerous awards, including Modern Bride’s Trendsetter Award for Photography. We continue to strive for perfection with our elect team of highly experienced photographers.
