Jen and Seth’s New York wedding at the Powerhouse at the American Museum of Natural History was not only beautiful, but such a reflection of the couple as well. We loved all of the personalized details! Some of our favorites was the lace adorning the wedding canopy from Jen’s grandmother’s wedding gown, personalized Tom’s shoes as bridesmaids gifts, as well as the recessional to Icelandic indie band Sigur Ros. And the menu consisted of the bride and groom’s favorite NYC foods like Blue Ribbon style fried chicken with truffled mac & cheese, Shake Shack style milkshakes, and personalized milk and cookies as the favors. And for the grand finale, a Momofuku Signature Pretzel Wedding Cake.
Planned by our friend Corey at Chlo Productions, the wedding decor brought the outside in to create a whimsical woodland complete with wooden tables, rustic wood chargers, bell jars and an abundance of fragrant wildflowers. But to add a touch of modern romance, crystal chandeliers hung over the tables. And Starlight Orchestras provided the stellar entertainment throughout the night. A huge congrats to Jen, Seth and their lovely family.
